Coming to the end of Jan.
As we come to the end of Jan I am excited about everything that is going on. I am down 12 pounds. Working out three to four times a week and watching what I eat. It has been a lot of hard work and a lot of up and down feelings. Staying on track is important to me and I am starting to feel better then I have in a long time.

Half way through week 4
This week has been hard. I am down 10 pounds since the first of the year. I am very proud of the progress that I have made. I know that I could be losing more but things and life have come up. This week I was able to work out Sunday and Monday. Tuesday was a bad day with a bummed ankle. Its still swollen and sore but its getting better. So for the last two days I have not been able to work out. But thats ok I am going to back at it tomorrow night.
On Tuesday I went to the doctor to find out what the plan was for surgery. Got some blood drawn and now its time to get the other doctors appointments set up and call the insurance to make sure everything is covered and it is a go. A lot of people dont agree with my decision to go with the surgery but I have been told that its going to be the healthiest thing for me to do. Having the surgery will get rid of some of the hormones that interfere with my PCOS as well as causing complications with the cancer. I am happy with my decision and I have a wonderful support group. I will let everyone know when surgery is planned and how things go.

Start of week 4
Starting out week four I am at 269 pounds. Only lost a couple of pounds last week due to being sick and not working out. This week its back to working out and staying on the path to eating right. My goal is to lose 20 pounds before surgery. I am down 9 pounds so far. I have another 11 to go. I havent decided yet if I want to lose more then that before I go in or not. I think right now we will just play it by ear. I go in Tuesday to see the doctor and decide what needs to happen next. Very excited about it and what is to come in the future!

End of week three
Here I am finishing out the end of week three. This week was not a good week. I have been sick and haven't really had the energy to work out. On the positive side I am down another two pounds from where I was at the beginning of the week. And before anybody starts harping on me, yes I have made sure to eat all week. No matter how bad I felt I made sure to get food in my system. Not a whole lot to say this week, but hopefully next week is better!

Beginning of week 3
Its the third week of working out and eating better and I have strep throat :( not a whole lot of fun. Working through it though. I am 7 pounds lighter then I was at the beginning of the year and have been keeping it off. I weigh myself everyday just to see but the only ones that I count are the ones on Sunday. I love my work outs. My knees hurt when im done but I know a lot of that is the pressure from the weight I am carting. around. It feels better everyday. I am not as winded coming up the stairs any more. My clothes are fighting better and as well as my shirts. I never thought that I would say that I like working out but when you add the accomplishments that come with it, the great friends that are doing it with you and better overall health its a lot of fun!!! Its exciting and I cant wait to get down to where I want to be. I know that its going to take a while to lose the weight that I want to be at and at the weight the doctors want me at but I can do it!

Week one Done
The first week of the new year has come and gone. I started this year out at 278 pounds. Worked out 5 days last week and am going for six this week. It has been easier with close friends around to do t with me and to keep me motivated. I feel like I am finally getting into the swing of things and getting into a habit of working out and making it part of my everyday life. I am working with the couch to 5k program that I have on my ipod and love the fact that I can share what I have accomplished and actually have a goal set everytime I start to work out. I think in the past for me it has always been an issue of me wanting it and wanting it right now. Setting the long term goals and forgetting about the everyday goals. Once I started using the everday goals and meeting them everyday, it gave me the boost that I needed. Now at the end of every work out I can look at myself and say I did it. This is what I accomplished today. This is what I will accomplish tomorrow. So I am proud to say that a week into the new year and I am 5 pounds lighter then what I was at the beginning. Hoping that it will continue to go do this path for the rest of the year and I can shed this weight and be happier and healthier!

2012
Starting out this year my weight is 278 lbs. I was losing for a while and then started to gain. I understand a little bit more about why I am struggling to lose the weight so now its time to work with it and see what I can do to make things better and get this fat and weight off my body. I have started working out, and eating better. Cut out all soda, sweets and most carbs. The bad carbs that is. Something that I know I have to do with the PCOS. It is not an easy road but I know that I will get there its just going to take time. Being over weight with the PCOS is not a good thing. The extra chemicals and insuline that my body produces can cause ovarian cancer and we all know that battle that has already been played with that one. I just want to be happy and healthy and moving forward with my husband and family. I will keep everyone updated as I go.
For Jan 2nd PCOS Pills as prescribed, 6 inch sub for lunch and 6 inch sub for dinner. 15 minutes of walking for 1 minute and 30 seconds, and jogging for 1 minute back and forth, then did upper body arm reps for 15 minutes. This morning I am sore and will be doing it all over tonight. :)
